Who are we?
Petar & Julia’s Travel is a boutique destination management company specializing in creative and bespoke travel experiences in Croatia and beyond.
As Croats we have an intuitive understanding of the elements that make our country a unique and intriguing travel destination, and our passion is sharing the many treasures of Croatia with our guests. Croatia is a land of stunning coastlines dotted with a thousand islands, a land where the mark of many civilizations over the millenium is there to see and explore, a land rich in culinary traditions and a deep connection to the land, blessed with rugged mountains with pristine lakes and old growth trees. Our itineraries are tailor made to meet the interests of our clients, be it a relaxing family vacation, a romantic getaway or active adventure.
We specialize in small groups and make every effort to use locally-owned boutique hotels with charm and history. We make sure that every traveler has the opportunity to experience each destination with authenticity. We support responsible tourism. We love sharing experiences. As lifelong residents we bring travelers to our favorite local places they are certain to love as much as we do. We are the place for the sophisticated traveler who wants the best.

FOUNDER
Mirela has been in the travel business for more than 20 years. She completed the College of Economics in Tourism in 2003 and received a Master of Science in Ethnology/Cultural Anthropology degree in 2012 (Faculty of Humanistics and Social Science). She strongly believes that travelling can improve your life. As a passionate traveller and ethnologist, she always includes local experience in our programs. As the mother of two children, she knows what makes family adventure travel successful and extraordinary. We chose this personal name – Petar and Julia (names of the children of the founder Petar & Julia’s Travel) because not only do children inspire, but children see everything in new, frank, intuitive, spontaneous way. Children always discover new things.
